Additional Information:
Center Console Lid:
As standard, the center console lid for the Speedster was plain. There was an option to have the Porsche crest imprinted, but other than that, everything else was considered to be a CXX option. We saw some chassis have the "Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur" lettering, yet there were even less to feature the Speedster silhouette laser etched.
I wanted to highlight this as I find it to be a very interesting detail, primarily since it was only seen on six chassis, most of which are located in the United States, yet each one is slightly different than the rest:
Arena Red Metallic // 1050
Golf Blue // 0356
Iris Blue Metallic // 1636
Oak Green Metallic // 1542
Oak Green Metallic // 1655
Slate Grey RAL 7015 // 0187
Colored Roof:
As standard, the Speedster roof was Black. That remains true for all 1948 chassis, except for a rumored thirteen individual cars. While we do not have photos of them, we know it to be true that these chassis exist across the globe, and were available to clients outside of the American market. Availability was limited by region, and only one was said to be available for the United States. Because of this, the U.S. market did not receive the allocation. PCNA could not decide who should have it, therefore decided no one should have it.
This option was said to cost $25,000, and was available in Blue, Brown, or Red.

Azzuro Thetys Metallic // 0063
Forest Green Metallic // 0910

Gold Speedster Script:
For one reason or another, Porsche was very particular about elements from the Heritage Package appearing on cars which were not optioned with the Heritage Package. Since Heritage Package builds were somewhat locked on options, you could not option a Heritage Package car with a paint to sample finish. This led some owners to apply the gold Speedster script from the Heritage Package cars onto their paint to sample ones.
